Katsia Paulavets, Strategic Advisor, Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN, Paris), delivered a talk on ‘SDG Index’ on August 26, 2025, on Zoom Platform. She gave insights into the Sustainable Development Report 2025, the global and regional SDG performance, the role of the SDG Index & Dashboards, and the data methodology used in the metrics provided by SDSN based
on UN agencies, World Bank, ILO, FAO, OECD, and academic sources. She highlighted ongoing issues of poverty, hunger, climate action and biodiversity and raised awareness of spillover impacts that connect national policies with global outcomes. 72 MBA SM students attended the session. The session was facilitated by Dr. Elizabeth Abba, Associate Professor, School of Sustainability and Associate Dean – International Relations, XIM University. Ioann Jacob Chacko, MBA-SM (2025-27) served as the student Master of Ceremony. The webinar ended on a strong note: “Achieving Agenda 2030 will require renewed focus on financing, equity, and international cooperation”.
