ConXerv is the Committee for Sustainability of the School of Sustainability at XIM University. Founded by the students of the MBA in Sustainability Management program, our mission is to instill the values of sustainability in every resident of XIM University. As a functional committee, ConXerv is dedicated to empowering students to become future leaders in sustainability by fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and action.

Events and Activities
ConXerv organizes various events and activities throughout the year to engage students in sustainability:
Parivartan: Annual Business Conclave
Our flagship event, Parivartan, brings together industry leaders, policymakers, academics, and students to discuss and debate critical sustainability issues in the business world. This event serves as a platform for networking and knowledge exchange, fostering a deeper understanding of sustainability in business.
Introducing Paritraan
We are proud to introduce Paritraan, the premier publication from the School of Sustainability at XIM University. Dedicated to climate change, sustainability, and biodiversity, Paritraan offers in-depth analysis and thought leadership on critical environmental issues.
Our inaugural issue, aligned with Earth Day themes, features expert contributions, comprehensive research, and actionable insights to inspire and empower those committed to environmental stewardship. Whether you are a sustainability professional, academic researcher, or passionate about the planet’s future, Paritraan provides valuable perspectives and practical solutions.
Launching in 2024, Paritraan will be a bimonthly magazine, highlighting environmental sustainability issues and school achievements. Join us on this important journey towards a sustainable future.
QuizX
As part of Parivartan, ConXerv organizes an official quiz called QuizX. This quiz is conducted on the Unstop platform and is open to students from other colleges and universities. The results are announced during the Parivartan event, adding an element of excitement and competition.
Paritraan: Sustainability Magazine
Released bimonthly, Paritraan features articles, interviews, and case studies exploring diverse sustainability themes. This magazine serves as a platform for students to showcase their research and perspectives, contributing to the broader conversation on sustainability.
Immersion Courses and Workshops
ConXerv organizes workshops and short courses led by industry experts and faculty on specific sustainability topics. These sessions provide students with in-depth knowledge and practical skills, enhancing their understanding and competence in sustainability.
Live Projects
We facilitate live projects that offer students hands-on experience in tackling real-world sustainability challenges. Partnering with businesses, NGOs, and government agencies, these projects allow students to apply their knowledge and make a tangible impact on sustainability issues.

Parivartan 2023
On September 2nd, 2023, ConXerv and the School of Sustainability at XIM University hosted the 8th Annual Business Conclave, PARIVARTAN, themed “India’s Advancement towards Sustainable Development through Carbon Markets.”
The event featured welcome notes from Prof. Dr. Sutapa Pati and Prof. Dr. Tanmay Khuntia. Discussions covered topics like carbon mechanisms, the role of carbon markets, and consumer behavior’s impact on carbon markets.

As part of Parivartan 2023, ConXerv organized QuizX, a sustainability quiz competition with forty multiple-choice questions on sustainability facts and recent business news. Top performers were recognized and rewarded, making QuizX a key highlight of the event.
