Theme: Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) and Ecosystem-Based Disaster Risk Reduction (Eco-DRR)

Organized by Youth4Water and ConXerv, this Young Leadership Programme was designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical community action.
- Academy Leadership: The board included Dr. Sutapa Pati, Mr. Ranjan K. Panda, and Prof. Nidhi Nagabhatla (UNU-CRIS).
- Technical Discourse: Sessions explored the Water Risk-Resilience Nexus, the importance of the microbiome in freshwater ecosystems, and the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration.
- Social and Governance Pillar: The program emphasized community voices, featuring residents from Tandahar Village sharing insights on coastal ecosystem shifts and human mobility. Discussions also touched on the link between climate change and mental health.
- Actionable Synthesis: The academy concluded with a field trip to the Daya Nadi River Bank and a guided tour of NbS applications on the XIMU campus.
