Theme: Strategic Innovation in Systems and Processes: Embedding Sustainability Beyond Compliance for Competitive and Market Leadership

Organized by the Alumni Committee, Symposium ’25 brought together 141 students from the MBA (Sustainability Management) 2024–26 and 2025–27 batches. The session featured three accomplished alumni speakers who provided deep dives into contemporary corporate sustainability:
- Rajashree Banerjee (Senior Consultant, Deloitte): Shared critical insights on ESG strategy and reporting frameworks, emphasizing the growing importance of materiality and transparent disclosures under BRSR Core, ISSB, and TCFD.
- Kaustav Sanyal (Senior Manager, Haleon): Focused on the role of environmental governance in climate resilience, discussing how global mechanisms like the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and CSRD are reshaping modern supply chains and product innovation.
- Naina Agarwal (Senior Manager, Marelli): Encouraged participants to view sustainability as a driver of performance excellence and competitive strength rather than a regulatory burden.
