The Alumni Committee of the School of Sustainability, XIM University, organized Mentorship Programs featuring Mr. Dev Kumar Dutta (Batch 2016-18), Assistant Manager at Ernst & Young (EY). For the MBA-SM batch of 2024-26, Mr. Dutta shared insights on sustainability assurance, including limited and reasonable assurance, GHG assurance,
sustainability finance, and frameworks like CSRD, ESRS, and TCFD. He emphasized strategic and technical aspects of sustainability consulting and guided students on career planning. For the incoming MBA-SM batch of 2025-27, he provided a beginner-friendly overview of assurance services, Scope 1-3 emissions, and professional advice on building credibility and adapting to evolving sustainability standards.
