Leadership Talk for MBA-SM Batch : 6th Sep’25

The Career Advisory Services of the School of Sustainability, XIM University, hosted a session on “Carbon Economy: Accounting, Analytics & the Path to Net Zero” on September 6, 2025, led by Mr. Arnab Deb, Director – ESG & Climate Change, Dun & Bradstreet India. Mr. Deb discussed the global and national dynamics of climate change, the evolution of carbon markets, and the role of tools like cap-and-trade, CDM projects, and RBI’s green taxonomy in driving decarbonization. He highlighted challenges for developing nations, including technology gaps and regulatory barriers, while emphasizing innovation and authentic climate action beyond compliance. The session motivated students to envision India’s transition toward a sustainable, low-carbon future.
