The Placement Committee (CAS SOS), MBA-Sustainability Management, XIM University, organized a Virtual Leadership Talk on 26th July 2025 featuring Mr. Sankhadip Das, Lead ESG Governance & Strategy, Evonith Steel, for both MBA-Sustainability Management batches. The session provided insights into sustainable industrial practices, covering
steelmaking processes, Dry Quenching (coke), the use of alternate fuels such as biomass and plastics, Electric Arc Furnace technology, and cement manufacturing. Students were encouraged to study the company beforehand, making the session interactive and enriching with practical perspectives on ESG integration in heavy industries. The session emphasized viewing sustainability as an opportunity to drive innovation and build resilient businesses, leaving a strong impact on the MBA-SM cohort.
