The MBA SM batch of 2022-24 from the School of Sustainability, XIM University visited JSPL Angul township on a field visit as part of their CSR course on 30 November 2022. The CSR General Manager of JSPL, Ms. Puspa Satapathy acquainted the batch with the various CSR initiatives of JSPL in Angul which include the watershed management project, farmer support program, Sneha Project, Kishori health program, fecal sludge treatment plant and training programs for the Self-Help Groups. The field visit provided an understanding of how CSR projects are planned and implemented by corporates with community participation for long-term value creation.
